Health Attitudes + Beliefs

July 27, 2018

Hello!  The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) is very interested in the views and beliefs of First Nations and Aboriginal people in BC. FNHA has recently launched the Health Attitudes + Beliefs survey to learn more about First Nations perspectives on the opioid crisis, changes to federal cannabis policy, and to work towards improving cancer screening rates for First Nations in BC. The results of conducting this survey will improve how FHNA delivers health programs, services, and shares public health information with BC First Nations. FNHA has hired R.A. Malatest & Associates Ltd. (Malatest) to administer the survey. FNHA would truly appreciate your support in promoting this survey to ensure that the voices of BC First Nations are represented on these important topics. To encourage participation in the survey, FNHA is providing:  Posters about the Health Attitudes + Beliefs Survey. All survey respondents can enter to win either a $500, $300 or $100 prize. Please place these posters in prominent locations in your centre.  A Frequently Asked Questions guide with details about the survey, important privacy information, and additional resources on substance use, harm reduction, overdose, and cancer screening. If you have questions about the survey, please contact Malatest by emailing healthsurvey@malatest.com or call toll-free 1.800.665.5848 ext. 428. If you have any questions for FNHA, please contact Cate Korinth at cate.korinth@fnha.ca or 604.693-6586. Sincerely, Cate Korinth Communications Officer
